Her first day as Jonin - Shinranui

It was just the beginning of everything that she had worked for and her newest day was just beginning. As Shinranui woke up and stepped out of bed she found herself excited and already energized for the day. Since today was was her first day as a jonin she decided she would spend with her friends and maybe later go on a mission. As she hopped out of bed and got ready for the day she ran downstairs ate breakfast and on her way out yelled "Bye momma, I'll be out for a while thanks for the cinnamon rolls! Love you!"
Running out the door and into the world she marveled at the village she called home, Konohagakure. As she briskly walked down the street, slowing to a leisurely pace she looked at all the familiar sights, sounds, and faces that she had grown accustomed to living here in this village. *Hm, now where would those guys be* she thought as she wondered where her friends were. Although she realized that her former love interest Tomahome, was not a Jonin she still wanted to include him and help train him so that during the next exams he could become a Jonin like she a her best friend Miyaka had.
"Hey! Miyaka , Tomahome!" She exclaimed as she saw the two sitting in a small restaurant. "What are you guys eating" As she ran over she once more couldn't help thank life for giving her this opportunity to be a Jonin.

As she really entered the restaurant she noticed it was quite crowded inside. Pushing her way, and maneuvering she finally reached her friends. As she sat down she realized they had eaten all their food, and began munching off their leftovers. As the three sat there in the noisy crowded space they talked. They talked about nothing and everything.
She first brought up the subject of the jonin exams. She asked both her friends how they did and how they were tested. She had fought two opponents and had to take a written exam. But apparently Miyaka had to face two foes at one time. Both were proctors told to act as foes but she had to show the judges that she could handle fighting multiple targets at the same time. Tomahome's was also a little different. He had faced a foe then had to manurer through a certain area and face another.
as the three discussed their different experiences they realized that after this things wouldn't be the same. As the two girls had reached jonin they could now train academy students and genin and thus the team might not have much time to spend with each other. They decided to promise to meet each other at least once a week to just have dinner and catch up, maybe even reminece of the old times. And within herself Shinranui promised to begin learning and hopefully mastering medical ninjutsu.

As the three friends finished what was left on their plates in the noisy restaurant, they paid and decided it was time to go. Walking out of the restaurant they were greeted by the busy bustling streets of knohagakure. The three walked down the street observing business going on with their daily business and watching young children playing around in the streets with wooden swords, babies on mothers backs, and the many restaurants and people that just littered knoha everyday.
as they walked they eventually reached the academy that they used to attend.
"Oh god do you guys remember those days at the academy" Shinranui said as she was hit with a wave of old memories.
"Yeah" interjected Miyaka, "those were the days, when we would do nothing in class compared to where we are now"
"You know, I kind of miss those days. It was fun, I didn't even think id like you guys when we first met"
"How about we take a stroll down memory lane and check it out a bit" said Shinranui.
the three old friends walked into the academy once more. As they walked around the halls they noticed the class rooms where they once sat absorbing the information that current students were.. as they peaked into the classroom they all noticed a teacher that they all had. The teacher took immediate notice, and politely waved to them while instructing the class. As they walked around the building for about an hour they finally looked out the back window and noticed students learning how to throw weapons, and instantly they remember ed themselves in the same situation.
The three neared the exit of the building and as they did they took one more look back into the building that started it all.
"We had some great memories in this place and now we are finally moving on" Shinranui stated as they left the academy.

Walking home, the three ninja again remembered the good old days when the world seemed new, and becoming a chunin, let alone a jonin, seemed like an unobtainable fantasy. But now here all three were. Living life as shinobi and on there way to becoming stronger than they ever thought possible. Shinranui was going to try and be a medical ninja, Miyaka was looking forward to learning how to be a weapons specialist, and Tomahome wanted to become a permanent teacher. For these three they were living their ninja dreams and were one step closer.
As the three continued walking they neared Miyaka's house. The scenery of the village looked peaceful and as the three walked they just kept thinking and talking about how much things had and would change. Soon they might even face walking away from each other altogether, but for now they were happy to be where they were right now. With each other.
"Bye Miyaka" both Tomahome and Shinranui said in unison.
"Bye bye guys. I will see you both later. Until next time," she said as she closed the door.
Now it was just Shinranui and Tomahome. The two of them talked and joked all the way home to Shinranui's house. And as they got closer she began feeling a little more apprehensive. She still had feelings for him but knew that it was kind of a dream to even think they could be like that now. As their footsteps finally stopped and they reached her house, she looked up into his dark eyes and said
"See you later." But what she she really meant was, "I love you" and she turned from him as she always had and receded into the comfort of her home.

As she finally arrived at her house and as she moved the heavy door, she slid her feet onto the cool tile floor. As she closed the door she swiftly slipped off her shoes at the from entrance where most people in her house placed their shoes. She slid on some slippers and then silently walked to the kitchen of the home. There she saw her mother who had just finished cooking dinner for the family.
Shinranui said hi to her mother and gave her a quick peck on the cheek. As she left the room it seemed like all the other family members got there and sat down to eat. Shinranui decided she wouldn't eat because she had had a pretty big lunch with her friends. Wight that final thought of food in her mind she ascended the stairs and silently slid into her room for the night. There she said her prayers before quietly pulling out her diary.
with her diary out she began to describe the feelings she still felt for Tomahome and the excitement of her first day as a jonin. And concluding she added that tomorrow would be the first time she would try a mission as a jonin. Until another day.
